This is a signed limited edition print of an original soft pastel painting by artist Michael Howley. The subject of the painting is a close-up view of Ben Nevis as it emerges from swirling mist and cloud. There is s suggestin of distant blue mountain forms which disappear in the mist as middle distance mountain forms becvome clearer. Background colours are pastel blues and blue-greys but colours become warmer in the foreground with earthy greens, browns and dark purple-browns. A large cloud of white mist swirls in from the left.
